These are things that I do or should be doing daily in order to show up fully.
- Wake up on the first alarm.
I’m a notorious snoozer, but when you snooze the alarm you’re telling your brain that what you need to do that day just isn’t important enough to get up for. If you go to sleep late, adjust the wake up time accordingly.
- In order to wake up on the first alarm you must do what’s necessary to get to sleep on time, hold yourself accountable.
- Drink Water
This I do automatically, drink 8+oz of water first thing in the morning to set up your digestive system for the day
- Hydration is essential for brain health along with improving digestive system function and increasing energy.
- Breathe work
Deep breathing is mandatory, deep from the belly. Enough to recycle your flow and focus for the day.
- You can do anything as long as you have breath. Remember you are here for a reason and dominate the day.
- Movement
Work out, stretch, walk, and move your body daily.
- Your body is your vehicle for life, you only get one. Make sure you take care of it.
- Journal
This habit is improving.
- Understand your thoughts and make sure they’re in alignment with your goals. Are they serving you or are you serving them? Repeat this daily to maintain focus and control.
I’m not perfect but whenever I follow these steps in the morning I know it will be a purposeful and productive day.
